MSNBC's Rachel Maddow exposes the corporate interests behind the "ACORN witch hunt" in the first segment of her ongoing series on the current attacks against ACORN:

Sept. 24: "The Media Fails ACORN"

In her second segment, Maddow shows that while Congress has singled out ACORN to lose its federal funding, several very large, well-known government contractors have been investigated for very serious crimes and still receive far more tax dollars than ACORN ever has:

Sept. 25: "How did ACORN become a target?"

Maddow's third segment uncovers the history and the reasons behind the GOP's years-long efforts to demonize and destroy ACORN. Maddow interviews David Iglesias, former U.S. attorney who was fired by the Bush administration for failing to investigate ACORN for allegations of "voter fraud" of which he found no evidence:

Sept. 28: "GOP seeks wedge issue in ACORN"

In this fourth segment, Maddow and guest Professer Peter Dreier note that right-wing operatives are already declaring their war against ACORN to be over and are beginning to move on to their next target:

Sept. 29: "Next target for right-wing smear machine?"
